GENEVIÈVE DUBOIS
Owner & Creative Director / Level 5
Geneviève is an Aveda trained stylist with over 23 years of experience. Her passion, devotion, and commitment to hair has brought her to where she is today. She always strives to perfect her skills and enjoys sharing her passion and knowledge with her team. She loves being behind the chair, making her clients feel special and taking extra good care of all their hair needs.
She is now eager and excited for the growth in this new chapter as a Salon owner and entrepreneur. Geneviève is a master stylists specializing in natural balayages, highlights, and structured haircut.

MINIÂ REY
Owner & Senior Stylist / Level 4
Mini is an Aveda trained stylist with now over 14 years of experience with the Aveda brand. As a stylist, she is passionate and aspires to keep growing and perfecting her skills by keeping up with training, in salon growth and current trends.
She is fun and upbeat with a great sense of humour and a love for the mountain life. As a salon owner, she strives to keep spreading beauty, confidence and love throughout the community.
Mini is all about adding some edgy fun to your look, how much fun is up to you. So if you're thinking about a pop of colour or a fun textured do, she's your gal!

TAYLA KING
Senior Stylist / Level 4
Originally from UK, Kayla's passion of hair started as a young child which furthered into a career straight from school at 16.Â
Trained in both cutting and colouring she has used her skills to travel the world and after a couple years found herself back in Canada which she now calls home.
Eager to make people look and feel fantastic, she cannot wait to meet and get to know you in her chair.
Tayla is advanced stylist specializing in balayages, highlights, blondes and managing hair to suit your needs and lifestyle.
KENNEDY JUSTINEN
Stylist / Level 3
Born and raised in rural Alberta, Kennedy graduated from beauty school in May 2018 while also pursuing her passion for snowboard cross. She now proudly represents the Canadian Snowboard Cross Team, competing professionally throughout the winter season.
After apprenticing at Loyal Hair in Kelowna, BC under the renowned educator Colin Ford, Kennedy developed a strong foundation in precision cutting, technical skills, and luxury salon service. Her dedication to continuous learning has allowed her to refine her craft while growing her expertise with Aveda colour and modern hair techniques.
Now returning for her second spring and summer season at Mountain Chic, Kennedy is excited to welcome both new and retur​ning guests. Whether you're looking for a fresh cut, lived-in colour, or a complete transformation, she is committed to creating beautiful, personalized results that suit your lifestyle.

CATE ALEXANDRA
Advanced Stylist / Level 3
Originally from the U.K., Cate followed her passion for hairdressing in her twenties, retraining to pursue a dream she had cherished since her teenage year. That journey has now brought her to Whistler, where she is thrilled to bring her creativity, care and expertise to Mountain Chic.
Having trained in a vegan-friendly, eco-conscious salon, Cate is passionate about creating a thoughtful, elevated experience where every guest feels confident and cared for. With a special love for curly cuts and effortless lived-in razor cuts, Cate blends technical precision with an artistic eye to create styles that feel modern, natural, and beautifully tailored to each individual.
Outside de salon, She enjoys embracing mountain life through hiking, snowboarding, and exploring the outdoors.
MONIQUE AIKEN
Senior Stylist / Level 4
Originally from the Gold Coast, Australia, Monique brings over 13 years of hairdressing experience and a passion for creating beautiful, effortless hair. After owning and operating her own successful salon for seven years, she has developed a strong reputation for exceptional client care and attention to detail.
Specializing in blondes, lived-in colour, and low-maintenance hair that grows out beautifully, Monique loves helping guests achieve a look that suits their lifestyle while enhancing their natural beauty. Her warm personality, creativity, and commitment to delivering a luxury salon experience make her a wonderful addition to the Mountain Chic team.
When she’s not behind the chair, you’ll find her exploring the outdoors, snowboarding, mountain biking, or enjoying everything Whistler has to offer.
